Description
The tour to Victoria Island and Arrayán Forest starts in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche and travels by bus to the docking wharf, where visitors take a two-hour sailing trip to Puerto Quetri Hue, on the peninsula of that name. There, the tour goes on to the Arrayán Forest, a protected natural area home to 300 year old arrayanes of unparalleled beauty, with cinnamon-colored bark and an impressive height. The distribution of wood-planked paths allows moving around the forest and taking a closer look at the beauty of these wide trunks, their whitish spots and heights of over 15 meters (50 ft.).

The forest hosts the so-called Walt Disney’s Little House, as it is said that this magical landscape served as inspiration for the creation of the film “Bambi”.

Visitors then return aboard the boat to Victoria Island, where they can visit the conifer nursery, natural observation points, cave paintings, take the Gross path or enjoy the sun at Toro beach. And for those who enjoy sighting the beauties of the region from above, it is possible to take a chairlift to Cerro Bella Vista. Finally, the tour returns to the city of Bariloche.
