Description
The tour to Puerto Blest, Los Cántaros Waterfall, and Puerto Frías starts in San Carlos de Bariloche and heads towards the wharf to get on board and sail the waters of the Blest Arm on Nahuel Huapi Lake, and travel through an area of lush vegetation until reaching Puerto Blest.

Along the tour, visitors can see Centinela Island, resting place of explorer Francisco Moreno’s remains. Upon arriving at Puerto Blest, it is possible to stroll around the area or take an optional tour to Frías Lake. This tour consists in traveling 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) by bus to Puerto Alegre, and taking a 20-minute sailing trip on the green waters of Frías Lake, with Cerro Tronador standing out on the background.

Visitors then return to Puerto Blest, and sail off to Puerto Cántaros. The tour continues on foot, walking through the forest on a wooden staircase that leads to Los Cántaros Lake, whose drainage basin feeds the waterfall. The natural observation points around the waterfall offer an extremely beautiful view. Finally, the tour sails back to the city of Bariloche. Do not include lunch, entrance ticket to the National Park and ticket to catamaran Lago Frias (availability at the moment of arrival) 25/12/08 and 01/01/09 the tour is not made.
