The craft leaves from the Port of Bay, and it is possible to observe the clumps of the Hill Fitz Roy and Hill Huemul. On having come after Ovens, the craft changes direction in the western part and meets the impressive sight of the Glacier Viedma. The craft sails along the front of the glacier, it is possible to see big floes, the celestial ones of the sky and the walls that raise to some of 40 meters on the level of the lake.
The passengers are invited to get down in the rocky promontory opposite to the Glacier Viedma and to regroup since the guides give an informative chat on glaciology and the particular situation of the Glacier Viedma.
A short trek is tackled by the rocky promontory, where the erosive tracks of the glacier are observed. There are visited the balconies that give a panoramic sight of the front of the glacier. Few meters from the balconies, one finds the front of the glacier. During the excursion we will have a break to have lunch.
Loading of return in the promontory with destine to Bay Tunnel.
This excursion has a duration of 6 hours.
