Originally native Indians created their acoustic instruments. Then, the Spanish colonists brought with them their influence in the Old World. Then the Africans brought to the construction of the canal and some other groups gave birth to what is today one of the wealthiest Legacies folk from Latin America.
The show is entirely allegorical with typical music. In the group of women dancers look spectacular skirt, embroidered dress hand-made, fully complemented with cotton and jewelry both splendorous in the head as in the body, which is shown while dancing. The man's attire is less elegant, but their hats are finely handcrafted by artisans who sometimes takes weeks in one piece. The cotton shirts they use are distinguished by their gold buttons or pearl shell. The Udu in the show is dance. In the drum Joy are dramatized representations of historical episodes of Panama.
